People come first
The website shows cooking and community work, including work benefiting children and people in difficult circumstances. People’s dignity, privacy, and safety matter more than a promotional story. Receiving assistance must not depend on agreeing to be photographed, named, interviewed, or used in fundraising content.
Images and identifying information
Public availability of an old photo does not prove continuing permission to republish it. Our approach is to obtain appropriate permission and review safety before publishing images, particularly where children are involved. Do not use website photographs to identify children, locate individuals, reveal personal circumstances, train facial-recognition systems, or contact beneficiaries directly. Our approach is to avoid unnecessary names, precise locations, school details, and sensitive case histories in published stories.
Reporting a concern or requesting removal
A person pictured, parent, guardian, or authorised representative can email the subject ‘Image removal or safeguarding concern’. Include the page URL, which image or statement concerns you, your relationship to the person, and what action you request. Share the minimum information needed; do not send a child’s identity documents or post the complaint publicly with additional identifying details. We may seek proportionate verification privately.
Review and third-party copies
The team will review reports and take appropriate action within its control, including restricting or removing material when warranted. Removing a website image does not automatically remove copies, search caches, or content hosted by YouTube or social networks; concerns about those services may also need to be sent through their reporting tools. This page does not certify that all historic images already have approved consent.
Help and urgent safety concerns
Assistance requests should be made by an adult or authorised organisation using Request help or either email below. Website enquiries are not continuously monitored emergency channels. For immediate danger, contact appropriate local emergency or safeguarding services. You do not need to donate or consent to publicity to raise a concern or ask for assistance.
Contact the team
For policy questions, privacy requests, donation concerns, or complaints, email contact@nawabskitchen.org or 786godsfood@gmail.com. Please describe your concern and share only the information needed to investigate it.
